Seattle Sports ATC Cart

I purchased this item in early summer for my 100lb canoe which proved to almost kill me portaging to water before I ever casted out a pole... I am very pleased with this cart. It is well made and durable. If you can get it in the middle of your canoe it will basically balance itself and my 9 year old son can bring the canoe with >75lbs of gear on it.

When you get the product ensure you really really tighten the bolts that hold the nerf bars the canoe sits on. I didn't tighten them enough my first time out and made it about 150 yards then one side collapsed sideways onto the wheel abruptly stopping my beautful day outside...

The only thing that would make this produc t a little better is if it had an extendable arm that went with the length of the canoe. I have had the cart roll foward and bring me to a crashing halt one a couple occassions. It does come with a strap to wrap around the canoe, but it is pretty much worthless.

I received the boat/kayak cart and am well pleased with it. It so easy to assemble and structurally well made. I especially like the kick stand which helps to balance it while loading my kayak. One item which I would have preferred were non-corrosive wheels since I will use it around salt water environment. However, I have substituted the original wheels for plastic ones I obtained from my bike shop. With the size of these wheels it is extremely easy to hand move my kayak several blocks to launch. This is an excellent product.

I was looking for a cart to transport my duck hunting skiff to the marsh over soft and irregular surfaces. The Seattle Sports ATC Cart does the job extremely well. It is very heavy duty, although not heavy in itself. It carries my 100# skiff with ease. The bicycle size tires roll over the terrain with no problem.
