I did alot of research and sitting in different Yaks to make sure I would fit in one, Im 6foot 4in. and 230 pounds and fit in this Yak real good, no extra room but it is conformable.I received it one week early on normal shipping and it come in a nice heavy shipping double blanket to protect it. I live on Tampa Bay (Northend)and have had it out a dozen times with no problems of handling or tipping. Works well with the wind and tides anchored or not.I fish alot and have plenty of room for two medium platic boxes three poles,towels,GPS(handheld)lifevest,5gal bucket,anchor,extra rope,and camera.I mounted a Scotty rod holder(special for yaks) front and center so I have a quick place to sit my rod for getting the Yak positioned to get into the mangroves and oyester beds,got hooked on a 35 in drum and he pulled me 100 yards or so, cant wait until I hooked on a big on.I also put a small flat tupperware container in front under bungee to put my camera and smokes in so they dont get wet if it...

I recently purchased the malibu sierra after reading reviews and doing a lot of research on sit in style kayaks. My last kayak had ZERO storage space, so anything you take with you had to be right in the floor. With the sierra I am able to take a nice sized cooler and a tackle box with me sitting in the back. The kayak is super stable, and getting to the stuff in the back is no problem at all. For the price it's selling for here, you really can't beat it!
